LINKSYS PAP2 SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS  
 
  If you purchased the Linksys PAP2 directly from deltathree

deltathree completed the provisioning part of the process. The device is set to work with optimal settings and only with deltathree. You need to complete the configuration by applying specific user settings via our End User Interactive center at iCallhere.com.


Please follow these instructions to complete the configuration.
 
 
             
  1. Go to http://www.icallhere.com and log in with your provisioning UserID and password. You must use a special provisioning UserID and password provided by your Account Manager.

2. Click “Go to My Devices.”

3. Choose device type “Linksys PAP2” from the “Add new device” drop down list, and click “GO.”

4. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete configuration.

5. Once you complete the instructions, connect the PAP2 to your network and start making VoIP calls.
  • Phone Connection: plug in your analog phone to “Phone 1”.
    (Optional: plug in a second analog phone to “Phone 2”)
  • Power Connection - connect the power cord to the Linksys PAP2 and to an electrical outlet.
  • Network connection: Ethernet Port, plug in a network cable.
 
  If you did not purchase the device directly from deltathree  
 
             
  I. Connect your Linksys PAP2 to your network

    1. Phone Connection: plug in your analog phone to “Phone 1”.
    (Optional: plug in a second analog phone to “Phone 2”)

    2. Power Connection - connect power cord to the Linksys PAP2 and to an electrical outlet.

    3. Network connection: Ethernet Port, plug in a network cable.

II. Get your Linksys PAP2’s IP address

    1. Use a touch tone telephone attached to Port 1 or Port 2 of the Linksys PAP2 and press the star key four times (****) to enter the Linksys Configuration menu.

    2. Find out your IP address. Enter the necessary values for a static IP address.

Please use the table below for options and responses to the information you may use to configure the LINKSYS PAP2:

    Check Network Mask       120#       None       IVR will announce the current network mask of PAP2.    
 
    Set Network Mask       121#       Enter value using numbers on the telephone key pad. Use the * (star) key when entering a decimal point.       DHCP must be “Disabled” otherwise you will hear, “Invalid Option,” if you try to set this value.    
 
    Check Static Gateway IP Address       130#       None       IVR will announce the current gateway IP address of PAP2.    
 
    Set Static Gateway IP Address       131#       Enter IP address using numbers on the telephone key pad. Use the *(star) key when entering a decimal point.       DHCP must be “Disabled” otherwise you will hear, “Invalid Option,” if you try to set this value.    
 
 
 
  III. PAP2 Provisioning

    1. Open the Linksys PAP2 configuration page by typing http://(PAP2's IP address)/admin/advanced in an Internet browser.

    • If you are not prompted for the user ID and password, continue to #2 below.
    • If you are prompted for a user ID and password, please ask your device provider for the user ID and password, enter them in the requested fields and continue to # 2 below.

    2. The browser will show a tabbed user interface. Enter the Provisioning Tab and make sure you have the following settings configured:

      Provision Enable: Yes
      Resync Periodic: 60
      Resync Error Retry Delay: 60
      Profile Rule: http://tftp1.deltathree.com/rl-init.cfg

    3. Proceed to the System Tab and make sure you have the following settings configured:

      Primary DNS: 213.137.73.254
      Secondary DNS: 208.170.171.93

    4. Save your settings by clicking the Save Settings button at the bottom of the page.

IV. Configure your Linksys PAP2
    1. Go to http://www.icallhere.com and log in with your provisioning UserID and password. You must use a special provisioning User ID and password provided by your Account Manager.

    2. Click “Go to My Devices.”

    3. Choose device type “Linksys PAP2” from the “Add new device” drop down list, and click “GO.”

    4. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete configuration.

    5. Start making calls.
